Worship

Worship at FCOB!

At FCOB, we intentionally have a variety of different worship styles in order to connect with various people.  Whether it is a traditional service, with choirs, organ, or handbell choirs, or a contemporary service with guitars, drums, and violin, we encourage each person to discover a service that energizes your relationship with one another and God.  At every service, you will find a message that will challenge and encourage you in your daily walk with Christ. Our 8:15AM service, held on Sunday morning is a gospel service that will bring you back to the 'old time religion' that you love.  Classic in feel, the service encourages the congregation to connect in one voice the truths of the gospel.  We pray together, sing together, and grow together.

Our 9:45AM Sunday morning service is energetic and exciting.  The music is  a contemporary hard rock style with electric guitars, heavy drums, tight harmonies, and violin.  The message  is real, relevant, and challenging.
Our 11:15AM worship service in the Sanctuary is a classic service. With handbells, choirs, and orchestra, the music crosses a variety of genres. The message, times of prayer, and style of hymns reflect a desire to learn new things while claiming the traditions that encourage our faith walk.
The Basement is genuine, sincere and simple with a casual atmosphere downstairs in the Multipurpose Room at 11:15AM on Sundays. The environment will mirror what you see in many finished basements: comfortable seating areas, a hot cup of coffee, snacks, and good friends; a place where we pray you will feel “at home” and engage in authentic contemporary worship. We envision this experience to be a safe place where people come, sit together, talk together, and worship an awe inspiring God.
