Children’s Ministry Administrative Coordinator
The Frederick Church of the Brethren seeks to fill a part-time position (20 hours/week) with a person possessing a positive and enthusiastic persona to join the Children’s Ministry Program.  Candidates will demonstrate broad administrative proficiencies related to children’s ministry services, creative and accurate communication skills and commitment to the congregation’s Vision and Mission statements. W.A.V.E TEACHER
FCOB is seeking an hourly (2 hrs) teacher for our W.A.V.E. ministry (Welcoming Abilities Varied Exceptional). This ministry is aimed at meeting the spiritual needs of individuals who are mentally or physically challenged. The position serves as the lead teacher for special needs children on Sunday mornings during the 9:45 hour. The ideal candidate will have a heart for special needs children and their families; experience in working with children’s ministry in a local church setting; and experience working with special needs children. The W.A.V.E. Teacher must agree to the mission and core values of the FCOB and be willing to be an active participant in our congregation. A position description can be found here

 

W.A.V.E. Assistant
FCOB is seeking a hourly (1 -2 hrs) teaching assistant for our W.A.V.E. ministry (Welcoming Abilities Varied Exceptional). This ministry is aimed at meeting the spiritual needs of individuals who are mentally or physically challenged. The position serves as a one-on-one assistant or as a classroom assistant with special needs children on Sunday mornings during the 9:45 hour and 11:15 hour services. The ideal candidate will have a heart for special needs children and their families; prior experience in working with children’s ministry in a local church setting; prior experience working with special needs children. The W.A.V.E. Assistant must agree to the mission and core values of the FCOB and be willing to be an active participant in our congregation. A position description can be found here.
