HIS WORK. HIS WAY. HIS GLORY.

Do you see the glass as half empty or half full?

Do you see the challenge or the potential? Perspective makes all the difference. How we view things is often dependent upon how we view God. Join us as we discover how Nehemiah turns obstacles he encounters into opportunities to fulfill God’s mission, because he knows it’s about God: His work, His way, and His glory.

JESUS >
GREATER THAN

PAUL'S LETTER TO THE COLOSSIANS

In writing to the Colossians Paul’s audience is a young church discovering how to follow Christ. Paul encourages them to explore the treasures of the gospel and root their entire lives in Jesus, because He is greater than anything else.
Today, many priorities [both good and bad] compete for our focus and attention. The urgency of living in the “here and now” all too often seems to trump the urgency of living for Christ. Paul’s letter to the Colossians presents Jesus as greater than all things.
This study will help us discover how Christ should be the ultimate pursuit in our life.

FCOB Discipleship
Summer Elective

You are invited to join us June 5th for a large group elective class that explores what happens when we die.

Based on the book One Minute After You Die, Erwin Lutzer suggests that when you slip behind the parted curtain, your life will not be over. Rather, it will be just beginning-in a place of unimaginable bliss or indescribable gloom.  Follow along as Pastor Lutzer opens a window of eternity with a simple and moving explanation of what the Bible teaches about death. These messages bring a biblical and pastoral perspective to such issues as:
·         Channeling, reincarnation, and near-death experiences
·         What heaven will be like
·         The justice of eternal punishment
·         The death of a child
·         Trusting in God's providence
·         Preparing for your own final moment
